Biome Update

Pond Biome settled in and changed a lot.  Algea growth and snail population seems to be ok. Most of the wiggly things seem to have gone.  Pond weed grew well then seems to have died back somewhat.

The Moss Biome looked great for a long while, then seemd to have a large die off.  Not looking very nice at this point :-(

Pollen Filters

Made these Pollen Filters for Forensics.
Each one has a 250 micron mesh, dropping down to a 7 Micron Mesh.

Biome

The Pond Biome has finally settled properly.  The particulates in there must have been VERY fine as they took  along while to settle.
Lots of wiggly gribbly things in there and the weed seems to have perked up. :-)
Hoping the balance of Oxygen and Carbon dioxide works out well.

Moss Biome appears to be settling in.  I'm sure its looking better than it did at set up.

Biomes

Slight but very fun deviatiaion into other subjects.

I made a Pond Biome and a Moss Biome.
Both are sealed units so we'll see how they go :-)

Pond Bio is slowly clearing and it turns out I have a baby SWAN MUSSELL in there !
Also some Daphnia and other unknown wibbly gribbly things.

The Moss Bio has a few diff species of Moss and some landscaping that I couldnt resisist.

I also made a couple of Micro Moss Biomes, with a tiny amount of sand and substrate and a tiny amount of Star Moss.  I also added some micro lanscaping to those and they look ace :-)

Resonance Tubes

These are for measureing sound resonance at different lengths.
Cutting perspex tube is a pain in the a.....

Slippery Slope

Got a ramp built.
Will be using this for friction tests, car crash and acceleration experiments, and a host of other things.
